Obtaining predictable colour reproduction in the digital world can be a challenge because each device - digital camera, monitor, or printer - responds to or produces colour differently.
At Wizardry Colour Management is very important. We use several printers and print onto a variety of media, therefore colour consistency is of great importance to us.
We use the very best in technology to achieve an ICC Profile that produces the desired outcome on all print media’s. Monitor calibration is another crucial step in the process and we calibrate our monitors on a monthly basis. It is also important that the software you are using supports colour management. If you are not sure, please don’t hesitate to call us.
Wizardry has established a colour managed workflow and colour settings.
All files should be set up to the following profiles:
• RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2
• CMYK: US Sheetfed Coated v2.
To achieve a rich black the CMYK breakdown needs to be:
• Cyan 80%
• Magenta 60%
• Yellow 50%
• Key 100% (Black)
If possible, please supply printed colour proofs as a visual of what you are expecting
with any Pantone or specific colours indicated.
